New Order - Joy Division

"60min of early New Order" 1981, oder auch "Joy Division ohne Sänger Ian Curtis" live at The Ukranian National Home, New York City/November 18 1981.

"...at the time this was videotaped, New Order were still largely Joy Division minus Ian Curtis, a post punk band, not the electronic dance quartet they would soon become. This is a fascinating document of the group during perhaps the least documented era of their long career."

Comment on youtube: "Could you imagine a band playing in some dumpy East Village hall after the lead singer hangs himself. Not talking to the audience. Low lighting. No real interaction. Not in 2011. The audience now would record the whole thing on their cellphones...and not be in the moment. How does this only have 279 views. Criminal really."

WOW!!!
