The Soul Jazz Funk of KUDU

Here are 20 tunes out of 20 albums recorded on KUDU between 1971 and 1976. Filed in order of their appearance and starting with the earliest. KUDU Records was a division of Creed Taylor, Inc. (CTI). In my opinion the label, located at Rockefeller Plaza in NYC, was one of the most innovative ones ever. Perfectly appareled with an unmistakably artful sound created by such greats as Ron Carter and the legendary crew that is featured within this play list. As dedicated fan and in the meanwhile friend to Pee Wee Ellis, I don’t want to forget where he was contributing in this set as arranger, conductor and/or saxophonist. Pee Wee has lent his outstanding talent on the tracks 5, 6, 7, 8 and 18.
Mal bisschen was anderes... - wir wünschen einen schönen, sonnigen Tag :-)))
