STORY
Balance of Life is a film about life’s and human kinds’ fight to find balance between our own evolving life style and the nature of the planet we inhabit. The human race is drifting further and further away from its’ real roots and from what being human is really about. The speed of development has increased to a state where humans have a hard time keeping up. We find ourselves in a situation where both our own and the planets’ wellbeing is se-verely threatened. As a last resort human is relying on faith to find the balance. Is faith the last defense of man or is this world guided by forces greater than us? Is this force god, evolution or just the mere sum of coincidences that formed the universe, the natural order and laws of physics?'
Balance of Life is a dissection of the world we live in, where man has arrived to a point where finding balance is beginning to be too late. It is a story about humanity and what being human is about. Will the balance be found from constant progress, the bible or from directing our attention to where we came from – nature?
Balance of Life is a story of the earth we all share. It is a one mans’ and his cameras’ journey in a world filled with complete opposites, balance, imbalance and people travelling the right and wrong paths. Who in the end is to decide what path is the right one? What is the invisible force that guides us and is it taking us on the right path?

Balance Of Life, Elämän Tasapaino on elokuva elämän ja ihmislajin taistelusta löytää tasapaino oman kehittyvän elämäntapamme ja asuttamamme planeetan luonnon tasapainon välillä. Ihmiskunta ajautuu kasvavalla vauhdilla yhä kauemmaksi todellisista juuristaan ja siitä, mistä ihmisenä olemisessa on kyse. Kehityksen vauhti on kiihtynyt nopeuteen, jossa jopa meidän ihmisten on vaikea pysyä mukana. Olemme ajautuneet tilanteeseen missä sekä oma että planeettaamme hyvinvointi on vakavasti uhattuna. Viimeisenä oljenkortena ihminen turvautuu uskoon tasapainon löytämiseksi. Onko usko vain ihmisen viimeinen puolustuskeino vai ohjaako tätä maailmaa meitä suuremmat voimat? Onko tämä voima jumala, evoluutio, vai pelkästään sattumien summana muodostunut universumin hallitseva voima, luonnonjärjestys ja fysiikan lait?
Elokuva on nopea läpileikkaus maailmasta, jossa elämme ja missä ihminen on tullut pisteeseen, jossa tasapainon löytyminen alkaa olla liian myöhäistä. Se on tarina ihmisyydestä ja siitä mitä se pohjimmiltaan on. Löytyykö tasapaino jatkuvasta kehityksestä, raamatusta vai siitä, että ihminen kääntää katseensa takaisin tulosuuntaan. Sinne mistä on tullutkin; luontoon.
Elokuva on kertomus meidän kaikkien yhteisestä maapallosta. Se on yhden miehen ja kameran matka maailmassa, joka näyttää täydellisiä vastakohtia, tasapainoa ja epätasapainoa sekä oikean ja väärän tien kulkijoita. Kuka kuitenkin loppujen lopuksi päättää, mikä tie on oikea? Mikä on se näkymätön voima mikä meitä ohjaa ja onko sen suunta oikea?
