The Perennial Plate ist eine sehr interessante Mischung aus einem Foodblog und einem Reiseblog. Ein Ziel ist wohl, die lokalen Gerichte und deren Zubereitung zu zeigen. Sehr schöne Idee, tolle Umsetzung - ich krieg tierisch Hunger 8-)))

Ein schönes Projekt in der Hauptsadt, jetzt gibt's das ganze auch als Buch. Und hier einen Trailer zum Buch - das gibt es auch nicht alle Tage :-)))

Seit Oktober 2010 veröffentlicht das Blog http://www.notesofberlin.com täglich mindestens eine NOTE aus Berlin. Das Projekt ist nicht nur eine Hommage an die Stadt und die Kreativität seiner Bewohner, sondern versucht anhand jener Fundstücke den öffentlichen Charakter der Hauptstadt einzufangen. Wie ticken die Leute hier, was beschäftigt wen, wo, wie und warum?

Benjamin Lowy ist Fotoreporter und war früher mit seinen Digitalkameras unterwegs. Jetzt hat er das iPhone als Device entdeckt, mit dem man Bilder machen und direkt in das eigenen Blog hochladen kann, ohne Umweg über den Computer und die entsprechenden Bearbeitungsprogramme.
Momentan ist er in Libyen unterwegs und bloggt aus der Gegend von Bengasi beeindruckende Bilder...

This blog is part of a project borne during my travels as a professional photojournalist. For years, I have worked with bulky digital cameras, always mindful of the technical maneuvers from setting the shutter speed and aperture to editing and toning on a computer screen. In the last two years I have discovered that my iPhone has allowed me to capture scenes without feeling that I am once again on the job. To “point and shoot” has been a liberating experience. It has allowed me to rediscover the excitement of seeing imperfections and happy accidents rendered through the lens of my handheld device. I am able to create imagery, edit, and transmit all the images straight to this blog, creating a modern and efficient workflow for the most inefficient of pursuits - self expression.
